Sevilla-June 13, 2012

In Search for the Perfect Soccer Ball!
After sleeping most of the day, we headed out in search for the perfect soccer ball.  We were determined not to spend too much money because 1. the ball might not make it home and 2. we tend to play on grass, cement, etc. and the ball needs to be able to handle the pressure!  We decided to go to the Cortes Ingles and managed to find a cheap ball for grass and a rubber ball for playing in the plazas.  Tommy even found some Iker Casillas (Captain of the Spanish National Team and goalie for Real Madrid) goalie gloves.  I think the boys were thrilled, which was followed by them begging to go play soccer.  The Plaza Nueva near our apartment is the perfect place and the boys always find some local kids to join them.  No, they are not really speaking Spanish, but the other kids aren't really speaking English.  The language of soccer is all they need! By th eway, we had dinner at Andrew's friend's place-Azotea- which was fabulous. If you make it to Sevilla, you have to give it a try.  They take reservations at lunch, but not dinner.
