Madrid-July 10, 2012

I cannot wait to take the fast train to Madrid next year....the over 4 hour ride on the bus felt like it took forever!  But we were dropped off right in front of our hotel in Puerta del Sol (the heart of Madrid).  We checked out our room, and headed to the Prado.  Oh, how I love this museum. The boys were not as excited to see it again, but Andrew and I have our must-sees, which keep us busy and all over the museum.  It is huge!  I cannot believe how much it has changed since I was studying here in college.  We headed for dinner and ANdrew took his group to their annual steak dinner at Casa Paco.  We met them for late night churros.  Not sure if I would do that again...great churros, grumpy family.  We are headed to Avila early in the morning.
